List of improvements:
- View list of people you are following
- Editing is now done in the same format as you posted it (e.g. markdown or HTML)
- Searching by user now accepts username, URL, or URL of post
- Added support for Google Chrome (if you have it installed, the option will be in the settings menu)
- Infinite scrolling, no more having to manually load more posts
- Tapping on user links in notes now shows users posts rather than webview
- Tap on a tag to view similarly tagged posts
- Drill into user’s posts from tagged table view and liked table view
- Added audio and video thumbnails

- Scrolling between posts now enabled in landscape (iPad)

Tumblita 2.1.6 for iOS:

Tumblita 2.1.5 for iOS:

Tumblita is now ready for the iPhone 5! This version comes with some hugely requested features, like tag and user searching. Also added is the ability to follow/unfollow users, which you can do when looking at posts of an individual user. Enjoy!

Tumblita 2.1.4 for iOS:

An update is now available in the iOS App Store! This version includes a major change in the way Tumblita downloads Tumblr data, so please be sure to tap the ‘Email Support’ button in the settings menu if you run into any problems.

This version adds support for viewing and editing private blogs, as well as a simple rich text editor. One thing you’ll notice is that the format option is no longer under the posting options, it is located in the settings menu. Most users use one or the other for every post, so this seemed logical.

(For some reason, the Tumblita icon is showing a gloss over it inside the App Store, it will disappear once downloaded.)

Tumblita is an iOS client for Tumblr. After this morning’s epic fail I stumbled across this gem.

The best praise I can to give it is to ask Tumblr to hire this guy. This is a fantastic app, and worlds better than the nightmare that is the current (2.0) Tumblr iOS client. Everything is well thought out, the app has an awesome workflow, and it has so many little touches that make it even more superb.

Did I mention it is universal? iPad interface FTW.

The new Tumblr official iOS update will really need to be groundbreaking for me to ditch this.

Tumblita 2.1.2 for iOS now available:

The latest update for Tumblita on iOS should be making its way to the App Store within an hour or two. The iPad interface has lots of improvements and now supports the new retina display iPad! Tumblita 2.1.1 for iOS now available:

A new update for Tumblita on iOS devices is now available. A somewhat minor update with mostly bug fixes. However, I have included a frequently requested feature and that is that you can now load notes on posts that are in your dashboard. Enjoy!

Tumblita 2.1 is now available on the App Store!

With the extra available time over holiday break I’ve been able to bring some new features to Tumblita as well as clean up some things, some of the most notable are the following:

- You can now post multiple photos in one post! (5 max)
- Tap images from photo posts to save to your camera roll or view the click-through-url
- Fixed a bug some people had with not being able to see their queued posts
- Added some polish to the UI

Tumblita (iOS) update now available on the App Store:

Hey everyone Tumblita has been updated and is now available on the App Store, this is a very minor update which fixes a bug that was introduced in the last update. The ‘Add Link’ button caused crashing and has been fixed along with a couple other minor bugs.

Tumblita 1.1.2 (OSX) update available:

Just released the latest Tumblita for Mac on the Mac App Store, it comes with some great, but subtle improvements including:

A global show/hide keyboard shortcut (customizable through the preferences window)
Local keyboard shortcuts across most of the app
The image pane in the photo post section now supports drag ‘n drop images (so does the menubar icon, if you weren’t aware)

Tumblita 2.0 has been released!!:

I like it so far in the very brief time I have used it. Plus, it’s only $0.99 in the Mac App Store so it’s pretty inexpensive to give it a spin yourself.
